FMDBCA Mission

The mission of the Fargo Moorhead Drum and Bugle Corps Association is to promote the marching arts within the Red River Valley through educational and performance opportunities.

FMDBCA is a member of the Arts Partnership and Night Fire programs are partially funded by Arts Partnership grants.

Night Fire Drum Line is a percussion ensemble composed of young adults from the ages of 14-21. The Night Fire Drum Line was founded in November of 1998 and is dedicated to promoting and developing youth through musical and visual performance. Night Fire Drum Line operates as a program of the Fargo-Moorhead Drum and Bugle Corps Association (FMDBCA) and is a member of the Minnesota Percussion Association (MPA).

The Night Fire Drum Line offers two programs each year: Summer and Winter. The Summer program group performs at parades throughout the region. Rehearsals and performances begin the end of May and run through the first half of August. The Winter program begins in October, rehearsing weekly in preparation for MPA competitions that begin in February and run through the end of March. Members can participate in one or both seasons.
